Pivot with Purpose was an initiative of the Georgetown School of Foreign Service that received financial support from The Rockefeller Foundation. It was created by – and for – international development professionals to offer seminars and resources to guide career transitions.
We welcome you to view all sessions in our Pivot with Purpose Seminar Series on best practices for your job search and pivoting to new career paths which ran from June 2025 through April 2026. We also maintained a Resource Center to connect you with jobs, tools, and support.
About Us
We were a team of staff and faculty at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and worked to support professionals like you – whether you’ve lost a job, had your hours or income reduced, or expect to be impacted.
We launched Pivot with Purpose with support from The Rockefeller Foundation in order to support international development professionals transition in their careers.
