Farewell with Purpose: A Spotlight on Organizations Carrying the Torch

On April 16, 2026, our last session, the Pivot with Purpose team met with the community to discuss how we can all move forward with purpose in this difficult job market and highlighted the work our partner organizations.

During this “farewell” event, representatives from RPCV Nexus, OneAid, AidTA, Former Gov, Well Fed, Grounded Idealist, Career Pivot, and FedsForward all discussed how they provide ongoing support and services for development and public service-oriented professionals in transition. This list of organizations and their resources is extraordinary—please take advantage of it!

In addition, PwP team members explained their vision, content, and communication initiatives that made Pivot with Purpose what it was.

Most important, we all wanted to express our thanks and gratitude for this community and your ongoing support. It was our honor to help you find new work and offer a refuge from the daily onslaught of job applications and networking. While we are no longer leading these efforts, we are still working in the background, hopeful that everyone in our community will pivot with purpose!

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that every chapter with a beginning must also have an end. Yet, it has been a incredible pleasure to work with all of you. We are all proud of this fantastic community and confident in your abilities to find new work and thrive in new fields.
