Pivoting your career can feel daunting – but you don’t have to do it alone. Our upcoming Career Advising services are designed to provide international development professionals with personalized, practical, and community-based support to help you move forward with purpose.
We’re thrilled to confirm our ability to offer free, personalized career services through Career Valet!
These valuable services are only offered to a limited number of participants on a first-come, first-served basis. To qualify, you must identify as a member of the international development community and have attended (or viewed) a minimum of three of our Seminar Series sessions. If selected, you’ll have the option to sign up for either:
1:1 career strategy session with topics to include: job search strategy, interview prep, LinkedIn profile optimization or discussion of resume.
Career Kit job search toolkit with a detailed and personalized written resume review.
Please check out this application form for more details and to notify us of your interest! Also, please keep checking in with us for any updates regarding future One-on-One career advising.
We’ll host virtual Reciprocity Rings – virtual career support and community-building events in which participants join and are placed into small groups of 10–15 people. Each small group is facilitated by an expert career advisor and during the session each participant gets a chance to share a specific need, challenge, or request related to their career pivot and the group then offers ideas, connections, or resources to help meet those needs. It’s a structured, collaborative experience that builds trust, sparks generosity, and strengthens our shared sense of community!
Please check-in with us to see when our next session will be!
